this was the first game of a three day series versus the new york yankees. you could really feel the electricity in the air that night in dodger stadium. it almost felt like a world series game. yes, almost. why? because we lack the star power. yes, we have man ram. but he was man... not there. this wasn't my first time seeing jeter and a-rod play together. the first time was back in october 2004, at the old / original yankees stadium in the bronx. seeing them together on the same side never gets old. future hall of famers. cooperstown bound.
