family: phillips holiday family portraits

danny + tina phillips + their four kids.......+1 in the oven. the location was verdugo park in glendale. i grew up going to this park and playing little league baseball right across the street at babe herman. it's been years since i've actually walk through. what a great place for shooting - lots of thick tree trunks, and open grass.

danny has been my best friend since high school and we first crossed paths during our days playing on youth soccer. Over the past few years he's expanded his family with his lovely wife, tina. they have wonderful kids, full of life, and very disciplined. they're fantastic parents.

thanks danny and tina for the wonderful opportunity. i know we don't get a chance to see each other much since we live so far away from each other. i had a great time. but they're always disneyland!

****and just in case you need any work on your kitchen or bath tubs, danny is the owner of phillips kitchen + bath in santa clarita.  Visit his website: http://www.phillipskb.com/bathtub_reglazing

family: dinh family

dinh family - katelyn (9), jake (6), and mason (4).  what a fun bunch of kids!  i met them in the afternoon at the lab in costa mesa.  it's a great place to shoot especially with all the bright colors in the background.  i started off with the two boys.  it was very easy for me to get them feeling comfortable.  whatever jake did, mason was right there to imitate him - typical young brother wanting to be like his older brother. from personal experience, i know how that is.  they are best friends and it seems they do everything together.  both are very happy kids and constantly smiling.  jake was missing his two bottom teeth which made things interesting.  should i photoshop some teeth in his mouth?  of course not - but i did think about it..... mason wanted me to play "karate kid" with him.  he's full of action.  older sister katelyn, went shopping with her mom (dianne).  when i was done with the boys, she was all ready to go..... thanks dianne for this opportunity.  you have great kids......
